Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remains at the center of political tension as former provincial advisor Barrister Saif issued a strong statement emphasizing that the will of the people cannot be bypassed, especially when it comes to the province’s governance and budget approval.

Speaking to reporters, Barrister Saif said:

“The public voted for the ideology of the PTI founder. The KP budget cannot be approved without consultation with the founder.”

He made it clear that any attempts to bypass this process will not be accepted, especially by the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who, according to him, gave a clear mandate in favor of the PTI’s vision.

In a direct warning to the federal government, he added:

“If they try to impose an emergency, this government won’t survive even a day.”

KP Assembly and the People’s Mandate

Barrister Saif strongly emphasized that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is the only province where true democratic governance exists, and any attempt to override the people’s mandate will be fiercely resisted.

“This is the only province with a real government. People will not tolerate disrespect to their mandate under any circumstances.”

He concluded by underlining a key constitutional point:

“The authority to dissolve the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly lies only with the Chief Minister.”

These statements come amid rising tensions between the center and the province, especially regarding budget approvals and political interference. The remarks signal potential resistance if the federal government moves ahead without acknowledging the PTI founder’s influence in KP politics.
