Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq Intensifies, Pakistan Army Decimates Taliban 313 Corps Headquarters and Strategic Camps

Pakistan’s Armed Forces have escalated the scale of Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq (Wrath for the Truth), conducting a series of devastating overnight airstrikes and foiling fresh infiltration attempts along the western frontier. Security sources confirmed on Friday that strategic military installations inside Afghanistan, including the headquarters of the Afghan Taliban 313 Corps in Kabul, have been destroyed.

The operation, launched on February 27 in response to unprovoked cross-border aggression, continues to follow a policy of justified retribution against Fitna al-Khawarij (TTP) and their facilitators.

Overnight Airstrikes: Neutralizing Command and Control

Between the night of March 12 and 13, the Pakistan Air Force and Army Aviation targeted high-value militant infrastructure across the border:

  • Kabul Strikes: The headquarters of the Afghan Taliban 313 Corps was effectively destroyed, along with its associated support infrastructure and a major ammunition depot.

  • Kandahar Operations: The Tarawo terrorist training camp and a significant oil storage facility were leveled.

  • Paktia Offensive: Airstrikes successfully targeted the Sherinaw (Sher-e-Nau) terrorist camp, further degrading the operational capacity of the Khawarij.

  • Electronic Warfare: Security forces successfully shot down three enemy drones using advanced electronic warfare capabilities.

Frontier Defense: Infiltration Foiled in North Waziristan

Ground troops successfully thwarted a major infiltration attempt near Sadaq village in North Waziristan. Militants identified as members of the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij attempted to breach Pakistani territory but were forced to retreat following swift and effective resistance on multiple fronts.

Statistical Update: Heavy Losses for Aggressors

Information Minister Attaullah Tarar provided a comprehensive summary of the losses inflicted upon the Afghan Taliban and affiliated terrorist groups since the start of the campaign:

  • Casualties: At least 641 Afghan Taliban operatives have been killed, and more than 855 injured.

  • Infrastructure: 243 check posts used by the attackers have been destroyed, with 42 captured and subsequently demolished.

  • Military Hardware: A total of 219 tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery guns have been destroyed.

  • Air Operations: Sixty-five specific locations across Afghanistan have been effectively targeted by air since the operation began.

The Path to Conflict: Retribution for Martyrs

Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq was necessitated by a resurgence of terrorism, specifically the February 16 suicide attack in Bajaur that martyred 11 soldiers and a February 21 attack in Bannu that martyred a lieutenant colonel and a sepoy. Investigators identified the Bajaur bomber as a member of the Afghan Taliban’s special forces.

The Foreign Office has reiterated that Pakistan will not exercise restraint as long as Afghan soil is used for attacks against Pakistani citizens. Islamabad continues to demand verifiable assurances from Kabul that its territory will not be used for terrorism.
