On February 16, 2026, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched the “Maryam Ko Batayein” Helpline 1000, a specialized initiative to provide Rs 10,000 cash assistance to deserving families during Ramadan. This program aims to bypass long queues by offering a completely digital and swift application process. Eligible citizens can receive the one-time grant within 24 hours of successful verification.

To apply, residents of Punjab can use one of three channels: dialing the 1000 Helpline, using the official “Maryam Ko Batayein” mobile app, or visiting the dedicated web portal. Applicants must provide their CNIC number, which is then cross-referenced with the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER) and BISP databases. This ensures that only those with a monthly household income below Rs 60,000 and a poverty score below 30–35% receive the aid.
