In a major kinetic escalation of Operation Ghazab-lil-Haqq (Righteous Fury), the Pakistan Army has successfully transitioned from defensive border stabilization to a broad-front offensive. As of March 4, 2026, the operational map has officially expanded across both the Northern (KP) and Southern (Balochistan) border corridors, resulting in the destruction of 50 strategic hideouts belonging to the Afghan Taliban and its affiliates, Fitna-al-Khawarij (TTP) and Fitna-al-Hindustan.
The Pakistan Army launched a large-scale counteroffensive operations over last night in several areas of Balochistan, along the Pakistan–Afghanistan International Border.

Expanding the Operational Map: Multi-Sector Dominance
Security sources confirm that the Pakistan Army has shifted to a “deep-strike” doctrine, utilizing heavy weaponry and intelligence-driven artillery to dismantle entrenched positions in previously stagnant sectors.
The Southern Corridor (Balochistan)
Operations have intensified in the rugged terrain of Northern Balochistan to seal infiltration routes and dismantle the Taliban’s logistical depth.
-
Qila Saifullah & Chaman: Troop concentrations have been doubled to secure the vital Chaman highway and neutralize “fire-raid” points used by the Taliban.
-
Sambaza & Ghudwana Sectors: These remote regions, serving as the junction between Balochistan and Afghanistan’s Paktika province, saw the destruction of 12 reinforced bunkers used for weapon storage.
The Northern Corridor (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa)
The focus in the north has shifted toward high-altitude surveillance and the elimination of cross-border artillery nests.
-
Jani & Ghaznali Sectors: Strategic heights in these sectors have been retaken by Pakistani Ground Forces. These areas were being used by the Taliban as observation posts to guide mortar fire into Pakistani civilian settlements.
-
Aviation Support: Close Air Support (CAS) was utilized in the Jani sector to clear tunnel networks used by Fitna-al-Khawarij militants.
Strategic and Personnel Attrition
The Taliban regime and its militant proxies continue to face “humiliating” losses under the weight of Pakistan’s superior firepower:
-
Personnel: Total Taliban fatalities since February 26 have reached 464, with more than 665 injured.
-
Hardware: 192 tanks, armored personnel carriers (APCs), and artillery pieces have been neutralized.
-
Infrastructure: Along with the 50 hideouts destroyed today, Pakistani forces have successfully captured 31 border posts that had been illegally reinforced by the Taliban.

The “Zero Tolerance” Policy
A senior security official reiterated that Pakistan is in “no hurry” to conclude the operation. “The duration of our actions depends entirely on the Taliban regime’s behavior. We will continue to dismantle the specific infrastructure that facilitates Fitna-al-Khawarij and Fitna-al-Hindustan until verifiable guarantees of compliance are met,” the official stated.
The expansion of the operational map signals a clear intent: Pakistan will no longer tolerate “gray-zone” aggression and will defend its territorial integrity with increasingly decisive and forceful retaliation.
