The Government of Pakistan has issued a strong condemnation of recent statements by the Israeli leadership regarding the forced displacement of Palestinians, asserting that such remarks and the policies they represent are in direct violation of international law. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has called on the global community to take immediate and decisive measures to address the deteriorating situation on the ground.
The official statement from the MoFA spokesperson highlighted a growing pattern of actions that are perceived as deliberately undermining the prospects for durable peace and stability in the Middle East. The spokesperson noted that the continuous forced relocation of Palestinian families and the ongoing expansion of illegal settlements not only defy international resolutions but also constitute a flagrant disregard for the principles of international human rights and humanitarian law.

Escalating Humanitarian Situation, and Violation of International Law
Pakistan’s condemnation comes amid a backdrop of a severe and worsening humanitarian crisis. Reports from international aid organizations indicate a dire situation for the displaced Palestinian population, which faces shortages of essential supplies, including food, water, and medical assistance. The disruption of daily life and the destruction of homes and infrastructure have created immense suffering, compounding the challenges faced by civilians.
These actions are considered to be in direct contradiction of foundational tenets of international law, including the Fourth Geneva Convention, which prohibits an occupying power from transferring parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies. Pakistan holds that these violations undermine the very foundation of a rules-based international order and set a dangerous precedent for future conflicts.
Pakistan’s Call for Accountability, and Lasting Peace
In its official communication, the Government of Pakistan reiterated its long-standing position on the Palestinian issue. The spokesperson called for Israel to be held accountable for its actions and for the international community to play a more proactive role in ensuring the protection of the rights of the Palestinian people.
Pakistan reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to a just and comprehensive resolution of the conflict. This includes the establishment of an independent, sovereign, and contiguous Palestinian state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, based on the pre-1967 borders. The government stressed that a two-state solution remains the only viable path to achieving lasting peace and stability in the region, and it urged all parties to return to meaningful dialogue without preconditions.
