The Falcon 9 lifted off at 10:20 a.m. EDT, successfully delivering the satellites into low Earth orbit. Remarkably, all of SpaceX’s orbital missions this year have been performed by Falcon 9 rockets, equaling the total number of flights NASA’s space shuttle completed in its 30-year history.
The reusable booster, making its 19th flight, landed smoothly on the drone ship Of Course I Still Love You in the Pacific Ocean. This record-breaking year follows several milestones, including the launch of SpaceX’s 10,000th Starlink satellite and the 31st successful flight of booster 1067.
The company continues to push boundaries in commercial spaceflight, with five Starship test flights also conducted in 2025.
