Tenth Wave of Strikes: Death Toll in Iran Surpasses 1,000

The war between the United States, Israel, and Iran entered its fifth day with a devastating “10th wave” of aerial bombardments. According to the semi-official Tasnim news agency, the death toll from the U.S.-Israeli campaign has now reached 1,045. Massive explosions rocked Tehran, Karaj, and Isfahan on Wednesday, targeting buildings associated with the Basij volunteer force and Iran’s internal security command. Despite the intensity of the strikes, the IAEA confirmed that while buildings near the Isfahan nuclear site were damaged, there has been no radiological release.

In a dramatic escalation of the “broad wave” operations, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) announced that its ground forces have entered “battlefield operations,” deploying 230 drones in a single salvo. Tehran also claimed to have launched a naval operation specifically targeting U.S. military warships in the Persian Gulf. In Israel, air raid sirens sent residents in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv scrambling for shelters as a wide salvo of Iranian missiles challenged defense systems. While shrapnel was reported in Beit Shemesh, no immediate casualties were confirmed by Israeli emergency services on Wednesday.
