Banking Mohtasib Sirajuddin Aziz emphasized the importance of customer vigilance amid rising fraud incidents. He urged individuals not to share personal or financial information with third parties and warned against clicking on links from unknown sources.

“Customers must approach their bank’s nearest branch or helpline immediately if they receive suspicious calls,” Aziz advised. He also encouraged reporting such incidents, including the phone numbers involved, to the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).
The relief distributed by the Banking Mohtasib reflects the institution’s ongoing commitment to protecting consumers and maintaining accountability in Pakistan’s financial sector.
