Fauji Cement Reports Rs. 3.3 Billion Profit in Q1FY26 on Strong Sales Growth

Fauji Cement Company Limited (FCCL) reported a profit after tax of Rs. 3.3 billion for the first quarter of FY26, reflecting a modest rise from Rs. 3.2 billion in the same period last year. Earnings per share stood at Rs. 1.34, up slightly from Rs. 1.32 in 1QFY25.

The company’s net revenue grew 2% year-on-year to Rs. 23.4 billion, supported by a 6% increase in domestic dispatches and a robust 62% surge in exports, according to Arif Habib Ltd.

However, gross margins slipped to 31.5% from 34.3% due to lower retention prices, though this was offset by higher domestic volumes. Administrative expenses rose 21%, while finance costs dropped sharply by 51% to Rs. 668 million amid lower interest rates.

FCCL’s cash and short-term investments strengthened to Rs. 19 billion, compared to Rs. 11.9 billion in the previous quarter, signaling improved liquidity and financial stability.
