Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met on Wednesday with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and senior congressional leaders to reinforce the historical and strategic ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States.

Strengthening Strategic Relations
During his meeting with Secretary Rubio, Prince Faisal reviewed the depth of the Saudi-U.S. relationship, discussing mechanisms to further develop bilateral cooperation in a manner that serves the common interests of both nations.
Secretary Rubio underscored the importance of the meeting in a statement, noting that discussions focused on “continued coordination in support of Middle Eastern security and stability.” The talks specifically addressed the ongoing situations in Gaza, Yemen, Sudan, and Syria.
Legislative Outreach
Accompanied by the Kingdom’s Ambassador to the United States, Princess Reema bint Bandar, Prince Faisal also held talks on Capitol Hill. Key meetings were conducted with:
- Brian Mast, Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee
- Gregory Meeks, Ranking Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee
These discussions focused on bolstering the multifaceted relationship between Riyadh and Washington and explored international efforts to address pressing regional developments.
