Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has concluded his three-nation diplomatic tour to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Türkiye, during which he held high-level meetings focused on strengthening bilateral ties and promoting regional peace.

The Prime Minister returned to Lahore on Saturday after wrapping up the visit. According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the tour provided an important platform to discuss the evolving regional and global situation and Pakistan’s efforts to facilitate dialogue and de-escalation in the Middle East.
In Saudi Arabia, PM Shehbaz held a two-hour meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah. In Qatar, he met Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for one-on-one talks, where both leaders exchanged views on current developments of mutual interest.
The final leg of the tour took place in Antalya, Türkiye, where the Prime Minister participated in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. He held bilateral and trilateral meetings, including with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Qatari Emir. He also engaged informally with the presidents of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Syria.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar described the visits as “productive and fruitful,” highlighting the focus on enhancing cooperation in key areas of mutual interest. He praised Türkiye’s warm hospitality and excellent arrangements for the forum.
The Prime Minister and his delegation, which included Information Minister Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistant Syed Tariq Fatemi, were seen off at Antalya Airport by senior Turkish officials and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Türkiye, Dr Yousuf Junaid.

Pakistan has been actively engaged in regional diplomacy in recent weeks, particularly in mediating between the US and Iran and calling for de-escalation and peaceful resolution of conflicts.
