He highlighted Pakistan’s success in utilizing nuclear science for cancer diagnosis, agriculture, and industrial applications, noting that the nation is no longer just a beneficiary but a key contributor to the IAEA’s global mission.

DG Grossi praised the “high quality” of Pakistani scientists and engineers, stating that Pakistan is uniquely positioned to assist other member states in developing their own peaceful nuclear programs. The talks also touched upon the “Atoms4Food” and “Rays of Hope” initiatives, where Pakistan’s nuclear medical centers and agricultural research institutes play a leading role in the region. This visit to Vienna follows the Prime Minister’s official trip to Austria, where he also discussed green energy and bilateral trade with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer.
