Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed ministries to immediately work on integrating private-sector proposals into a unified industrial policy framework, emphasizing that coordinated decision-making is vital for sustainable economic growth and job creation.
Chairing a meeting of the private-sector committee on national industrial development on Friday, the Prime Minister stated that the government intends to translate expert recommendations into actionable reforms without delay.
The Prime Minister welcomed the comprehensive proposals presented by the business community, affirming that they are of key importance for the country’s industrial development and increasing investment.
He stressed that industrial growth is necessary for economic progress, employment generation, and increased income, adding that improving the ease of doing business remains a top government priority.

Separately, the Prime Minister also met with Governor Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, to review key administrative, development, and political matters concerning the province.
