Prosecutors in Georgia formally moved forward with criminal charges against Alaia Baldwin Aronow, the 33-year-old sister of model Hailey Bieber. The charges stem from a high-profile incident in February 2024 at Club Elan in Savannah, where Aronow allegedly engaged in a physical altercation with nightclub staff. Court documents reveal that prosecutors have now filed four misdemeanor counts against the model: battery, simple battery, simple assault, and criminal trespass. Under Georgia law, a conviction for battery can carry a maximum sentence of one year in jail.

The original police report details a chaotic scene in which Aronow allegedly forced her way into an employee-only restroom. A bartender claimed that when she attempted to check on Aronow, the model threw a used tampon at her. Security footage reportedly captured the subsequent escalation, showing Aronow resisting removal while pulling a bouncer’s hair and striking another in the genitals. While Aronow initially denied the tampon incident, she later admitted to it but maintained that her physical struggle with security was an act of self-defense.

The case has drawn significant public interest due to Aronow’s ties to the famous Baldwin family. Her father, actor Stephen Baldwin, has been seen supporting her throughout the legal process. Aronow is scheduled for arraignment on April 23, 2026, where she is expected to enter a formal plea. Her legal team previously stated she is “embarrassed” by the events and is taking steps to ensure such an incident does not recur.
