Senior Iranian officials reaffirmed today that diplomacy remains the most viable path for resolving international disputes, provided it is conducted on the basis of mutual respect and established principles. Stressing Iran’s longstanding commitment to constructive dialogue, officials noted that past negotiations were often undermined by attempts from the United States and certain Western governments to impose their own terms.

Speaking on the country’s post-conflict recovery, Iran’s lead negotiator, Abbas Araghchi, emphasized that the nation has emerged stronger in the aftermath of recent hostilities. He stated that Iran’s defense capabilities are now “much stronger than before 13 or 14 June,” and that all critical capabilities have been fully restored.
Araghchi underscored that Iran’s nuclear technology remains intact despite external attempts to destroy it, adding that any damaged facilities would be rebuilt. “What is important is the will of the Iranian people and the national cohesion which they targeted, but failed to break,” he said. According to him, the recent conflict has only strengthened public unity and support for the state.
Reiterating Iran’s position on diplomatic engagement, Araghchi noted: “If they speak to the Iranian people with the language of dignity and respect, they will receive a response in the same language.”
Iranian officials described the current phase as one of “repair and recovery,” expressing confidence that the country has learned valuable lessons from the conflict—both regarding its own vulnerabilities and those of its adversaries.
