The Interior Minister praised NADRA for its significant service improvements over the past two years but instructed the leadership to further modernize public services for greater convenience. He also directed that NADRA transition from rented buildings to state-of-the-art offices built on its own land. To date, the authority has successfully canceled millions of identity cards belonging to deceased individuals and established a 30-day resolution period for all ID-related grievances. Furthermore, in coordination with the PTA, mobile SIMs registered under the names of deceased persons are being systematically blocked to prevent potential misuse.
