Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026: S26 Lineup and Tri-Fold Launch Set for February

Samsung is expected to host its first major Galaxy Unpacked event of the year on February 25, 2026. While the company typically favors a January window, multiple industry reports suggest a slight delay this year to finalize design changes and manage global stock. The event, likely held in San Francisco, will center on the new Galaxy S26 series, along with the North American debut of the highly anticipated Galaxy Z TriFold.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra remains the star of the show, rumored to feature a massive 6.9-inch M14 OLED display with a new “Flex Magic Pixel” privacy feature. Internally, the entire Ultra lineup will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the standard S26 and S26 Plus may use the Exynos 2600 in certain regions. Notably, the Ultra is expected to finally adopt 60W fast charging and full Qi2 magnetic wireless charging support.

Beyond traditional phones, Samsung will likely provide availability details for the Galaxy Z TriFold in the U.S., following its limited December 2025 launch in Korea. Attendees also expect the debut of the Galaxy Buds 4, featuring a more compact design and Apple-style head gestures. On the software front, One UI 8.5 will take center stage, introducing a revamped Bixby integrated with Perplexity AI to offer a powerful alternative to Google Gemini.
