On the other hand, high profile Iranian officials also met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and other Pakistani officials in order to hold indirect talks with the U.S. Officials—also present in Pakistan. The Iranian delegation includes Tehran’s Speaker of the Parliament, and Foreign Minister, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Abbas Araghchi respectively.
Sources have reported that Pakistan is trying to facilitate direct talks between U.S. and Iran, in order to permanently end the six-week war between the three warring nations i.e., U.S.-Israel and Iran. Positive culmination of the negotiations would bring peace in the Middle East, and and end to the conflict.
