Mega Motor Company (MMC) and BYD officially expanded their Pakistani footprint by launching the Sealion 7 and Atto 2 at a flagship event in Lahore. This move solidifies BYD’s position as a leader in the local New Energy Vehicle (NEV) market, offering options for both high-end luxury and practical urban commuting.

The BYD Sealion 7, priced at PKR 15.49 million, is a performance-led SUV boasting 308 hp and a range of 567 km. It can sprint from 0–100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds. For the mass market, the BYD Atto 2 enters at PKR 7.29 million, offering a 380 km range and advanced features like NFC keyless access. Both vehicles utilize BYD’s signature Blade Battery technology, known for its industry-leading safety and thermal stability.

To support these launches, BYD and HubcoGreen are developing a 1,300 km charging corridor from Karachi to Peshawar. Early buyers booking before February 28 will receive a complimentary 7 kW home charger. Currently, BYD operates key experience centers in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, with plans to expand to 15 outlets nationwide by the end of 2026. This aggressive expansion aligns with the upcoming start of local assembly in Karachi, slated for mid-2026.
