Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong today, reiterating Pakistan’s dedication to deepening its relationship with China. The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the positive direction of Pakistan-China bilateral relations, emphasizing the country’s pride in its All-Weather Cooperative Strategic Partnership with China.

During the meeting, discussions also covered the regional situation in the Middle East and Pakistan’s ongoing peace initiatives.
Ambassador Jiang Zaidong conveyed China’s appreciation for Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts towards achieving lasting peace in the region. He reaffirmed China’s commitment to strengthening its close ties with Pakistan and elevating them to new levels, in line with President Xi Jinping’s vision.
