PM Shehbaz Sharif Departs for Saudi Arabia to Attend Future Investment Initiative (FII)

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has departed for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to lead the Pakistani delegation at the Ninth Edition of the prestigious Future Investment Initiative (FII).

The Prime Minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistants Tariq Fatemi and Bilal Bin Saqib.

The FII Summit is being held under the theme “The Key to Prosperity: Unlocking New Frontiers of Growth.” The conference will convene global leaders, investors, policymakers, and innovators for thematic discussions aimed at addressing key global challenges and opportunities. These discussions will center on crucial topics such as innovation, sustainability, economic inclusion, and geopolitical shifts.

During his stay in Riyadh, Prime Minister Sharif is scheduled to hold key engagements with the Saudi leadership. These discussions will focus on exploring new avenues for enhanced bilateral cooperation across vital sectors, including:

• Trade
• Investment
• Energy
• Human Resource Development

The leaders will also exchange views on regional and global issues of mutual interest and concern.

On the sidelines of the Summit, the Prime Minister will engage with leaders from other participating countries and heads of international organizations, underscoring Pakistan’s commitment to forging partnerships and attracting foreign investment to stimulate domestic economic growth. The visit highlights Pakistan’s proactive strategy to strengthen ties with key regional partners and promote the country’s investment potential on the global stage.
