Security Forces Neutralize 15 Terrorists Attempting to Infiltrate Pakistan

Sep 3, 2026 | Latest News, Terrorism

Pakistan’s Security Forces neutralized 15 terrorists who were attempting to infiltrate into Pakistan through North Waziristan from Afghanistan. According to the information shared by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) the movement of the infiltrating terrorists was detected by the troops, who then engaged them in a 36-hour operation. The operation resulted in the elimination of 15 terrorists, and recovery of large cache of weapons.

The slain terrorists were identified as part of Indian Terrorist Proxy Network, Fitna-al-Khawarij. This event highlights the failure of Afghan regime to prevent its soil from being used for terrorism. Or perhaps the constant insurgencies from the Afghan soil signal towards their complicity in regional and cross-border terrorism. The sanitization operation is currently underway to cleanse the area of any remaining terrorists.

Top leadership, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President Asif Ali Zardari, and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the Armed Forces for their swift thwarting of the infiltration effort. Whereas, Foreign Office reiterated that negotiations with Kabul are contingent on verifiable actions from the Afghan Taliban regime against cross-border terrorists.
