Operational Success in Nushki and Beyond
Following a series of audacious attacks on government infrastructure—including police stations, judicial complexes, and Frontier Corps (FC) camps—security forces successfully cleared the town of Nushki, allowing local bazaars to reopen after a three-day closure.
District officials confirmed that while urban centers are now secure, specialized units are continuing search operations in the rugged terrain of Nushki and Washuk to eliminate remaining threats. Similar operations are underway in Awaran and Washuk following the targeting of NADRA offices and police facilities by anti-state elements.
Tribute to the Fallen
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammad Tahir paid a solemn tribute to the officers and personnel who attained martyrdom while thwarting the weekend’s designs. During a visit to several police facilities, including the Anti-Terrorism Force (ATF) headquarters, IGP Tahir praised the high morale of the force.
“The Balochistan police have rendered unparalleled sacrifices for the protection of our citizens,” the IGP stated. “We remain fully prepared and vigilant, utilizing every available resource to ensure that the lives and property of our people are safeguarded against those who seek to disrupt our peace.”
International Solidarity: China Condemns Attacks
The international community has voiced strong support for Pakistan’s security measures. On Tuesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian issued a strong condemnation of the terrorist activities, reiterating Beijing’s unwavering commitment to its partner.
“China firmly opposes any form of terrorism and will, as always, firmly support Pakistan in combatting terrorism, maintaining solidarity, and protecting the safety of the people,” Lin Jian stated during a regular press briefing. The Chinese Embassy in Pakistan also expressed deep sympathies to the bereaved families, emphasizing the shared resolve to maintain social stability.
