In a revealing segment on a recent episode of The Kardashians, reality star Kim Kardashian learned that brain imaging showed “low brain activity,” a finding which her consulting physician, celebrity specialist Dr. Daniel Amen, directly attributed to her experience of long-term chronic stress.
Kardashian, who visited Dr. Amen with Scott Disick for a general health assessment, was told that while the scan showed no heightened risk for Alzheimer’s disease or signs of severe anxiety or depression, it did reveal several spots of reduced activity, particularly in the frontal lobes. Dr. Amen explained that this pattern can make effective stress management significantly more challenging.
Kardashian, who is currently dedicating intensive efforts toward preparing for the rigorous California bar exam, reacted with skepticism but ultimately acknowledged that she has been under considerable strain.

This stress is compounded by the pressures of her ongoing legal studies and her 2022 divorce from Ye (formerly Kanye West), issues she has spoken openly about.

The consultation followed a previous episode where Kardashian disclosed that a Prenuvo scan had identified a long-standing brain aneurysm, which a neurosurgeon cautioned could be exacerbated by high levels of stress, linking her health concerns directly to the chronic pressure she faces.
