CDF Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Underscores Strategic Readiness and Future-Proofing

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of Army Staff, conducted an official visit to the Gujranwala and Sialkot garrisons today, receiving comprehensive briefings on operational readiness, strategic deployment postures, and forward-looking initiatives aimed at strengthening combat preparedness across the formations.

During his itinerary, the CDF was afforded the opportunity to personally witness complex field training exercises designed to validate integrated maneuverability and defensive capabilities. Furthermore, Field Marshal Munir inspected an advanced simulator training facility, a testament to the Army’s commitment to leveraging technology for realistic training scenarios.

Strategic Vision on Modern Warfare: While addressing the troops, the CDF provided critical insight into the evolving dynamics of the battlefield. Emphasizing the significance of technological adaptability, he articulated that modern, multi-domain warfare demands not only conventional strength but also unparalleled agility, surgical precision, enhanced situational awareness, and the capacity for swift, informed decision-making across all echelons.

Focus on National Challenges: In his interaction with officers and soldiers, the CDF lauded their high morale and resolute commitment to the nation’s defence. He underscored a core strategic imperative: the Pakistan Army remains relentlessly focused on mitigating and neutralizing both internal and external challenges. This includes actively countering hostile hybrid campaigns aimed at strategic destabilization, combating the pervasive influence of extremist ideologies, and addressing the malicious activities of divisive elements seeking to undermine the fundamental stability and cohesion of the state.

CDF Field Marshal Munir reaffirmed the commitment of the Pakistan Army to upholding national sovereignty and ensuring lasting peace and security for the region.
