Throughout 2021 and 2022, Pakistan continued to observe Youm e Istehsal with rallies, state messages, social campaigns, and cultural events. International media and diplomatic engagement faded. With economic mismanagement, authoritarian inclination, and rising dissent at home, PTI’s credibility eroded—rendering it ineffective in foreign policy. Kashmir became stagnant on the international agenda. PTI’s inability to leverage its moral momentum into diplomatic channels deepened the disconnect between Pakistan’s rhetoric and actionable solidarity.
