In a rare and aggressive move within the Pakistani automotive sector, Toyota has announced a dramatic, limited-time price reduction for its popular SUV, the Toyota Fortuner, as part of a campaign celebrating 35 years of operations in the country.
The move sees the price of both the Fortuner G and Fortuner V variants slashed by over PKR 2.5 million each.
The new special pricing places the base Fortuner G variant at PKR $12,435,000$ (a saving of PKR $2,504,000$) and the Fortuner V variant at PKR $14,935,000$ (a saving of PKR $2,574,000$). These significant cuts bring the prices below their previous base rates, making the premium SUV considerably more accessible to consumers.

Toyota’s strategy, branded “Built to be Unbeatable,” is a direct response to the broader downturn in Pakistan’s auto industry, which has suffered from high inflation, expensive vehicle financing, and a weak currency leading to decreased demand.
By positioning the Fortuner closer to the price bracket of mid-range SUVs and crossovers, Toyota aims to reignite consumer interest and capture a new segment of buyers who prioritize off-road capability, luxury, and the model’s high resale value.

The limited-time and limited-quantity nature of the offer is set to intensify competition within the premium SUV market and provides Toyota with a necessary edge during the current economic uncertainty. Potential buyers are advised to act quickly before the stock runs out.
