The Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye and the official news agency of the United Arab Emirates (WAM) confirm that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ) held a productive telephone conversation this weekend to discuss the strengthening of regional cooperation and bilateral strategic interests.

During the call, the two leaders reviewed the progress of ongoing joint initiatives across various sectors, including trade, technology, and regional stability. Both heads of state reaffirmed their shared commitment to the deepening partnership between Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates.

Regarding the upcoming scheduled state visit of President Erdoğan to the UAE, officials have indicated that the travel will be rescheduled to a later date. This adjustment will allow for the most effective synchronization of the leaders’ agendas to ensure the summit achieves its comprehensive diplomatic and economic objectives.

The rescheduling follows a high-level coordination effort between Ankara and Abu Dhabi. While initial reports regarding the timing of the visit fluctuated, both administrations remain focused on the substance of the upcoming meetings.
