A Direct Message to the American People

Masoud Pezeshkian said Iran holds no hostility toward ordinary citizens of the United States. In his message, he tried to clearly separate political tensions from public opinion, stressing that the Iranian people do not see Americans as enemies.

He also challenged the common narrative that portrays Iran as a major global threat, saying it does not match historical or present-day realities. His tone suggested an attempt to ease public fear and open the door for better understanding between the people of both nations.

Call for Peace but Warning of Resistance

Pezeshkian said the world is at a critical crossroads, where leaders must choose between continued conflict and meaningful engagement. He emphasized that diplomacy is still possible and could shape a better future for the coming generations.

However, he also made it clear that Iran would not back down if attacked. Highlighting the country’s long history, he said Iran has survived many past aggressors and will continue to stand strong. His message combined hope for peace with a firm warning that Iran is prepared to defend itself if necessary.

Blaming Israel for Escalation

  • Pezeshkian accused Israel of drawing the US into the conflict
  • He suggested the US is acting under Israel’s influence rather than independently
  • He described the war as driven by outside pressure
  • He questioned whether the US is acting as a proxy in the situation
