During a December 15, 2025, appearance on Good Morning America, Noah Schnapp revealed that the Stranger Things core cast has made a pact to watch the series finale, “The Rightside Up,” together for the first time only when it officially drops for the public. Schnapp, now 21, shared that neither he nor co-stars Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Sadie Sink have seen the final cut, as they want to experience the emotional conclusion of their decade-long journey as a group.
The finale is set for a historic simultaneous release on Netflix and in over 500 select theaters across the U.S. and Canada on December 31, 2025, following the Volume 2 premiere on Christmas Day. Schnapp described the experience of reading the script as unfathomable and predicted the cast would be “sobbing for the rest of the month” after the credits roll.

Beyond the cast’s private watch party, the actor plans to view the finale a second time with his family in a movie theater on New Year’s Eve, marking the end of a series that has defined his entire adult life since he was cast at age 11.
