Saudi Business Delegation Visits SIFC to Expand Economic Partnership









A high-level Saudi business delegation led by Prince Mansour bin Mohammad Al Saud, the current chairman of Saudi-Pakistan Joint Business Council, visited Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). The purpose of the Saudi delegation visiting Pakistan is to explore the commercial, investment opportunities across Pakistan, and to expand the strategic economic partnership.


The SIFC facilitated engagements between Government-to-Government (G2G) and Business-to-Business (B2B) delegations, government officials, and private business conglomerates.

The key areas of focus are as follows:

  • Priority Sectors: Power, Petroleum, Privatisation, Industries, Communications, and Highways.
  • Bilateral Engagement: Advancing investment frameworks and commercial initiatives that are beneficial to both Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
  • Meetings with Leadership: The Saudi-delegation met Prime Minister Sharif. The latter reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to transform bilateral ties into strategic economic partnership aligned with the vision of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The Saudi-delegation’s visit is a testament of Saudi investor’s increasing interest in Pakistan’s economic landscape and expanded economic partnership. The Saudi-Pakistan leadership is expressing optimism that discussions will culminate in formal MoUs and agreements which in turn with expand investment and economic partnership.
