ISLAMABAD – August 14, 2025 – In a significant ceremony today, Pakistan’s top military brass was honored with some of the nation’s highest military decorations in recognition of their exceptional service and leadership. The awards were conferred upon the senior leadership for their steadfast commitment to national defense and security.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu were both awarded the Hilal-e-Jurat. This prestigious award is one of the highest military decorations for gallantry and outstanding service.
Additionally, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf were awarded the Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military). This honor recognizes their invaluable contributions and distinguished service to the country’s armed forces.
