British MP Muhammad Afzal, while addressing the House of Commons, praised Pakistan for playing a leading role in promoting peace between Washington and Tehran. He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their sincere and tireless efforts.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer endorsed these remarks and thanked the Pakistani government for its constructive contribution toward regional stability.
Pakistan’s mediation has also drawn appreciation from across the border. Retired Indian Major General Yashpal Mor acknowledged that Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir’s leadership and strategic acumen have been key to Pakistan’s success. He noted that Pakistan earned the trust of both the US and Iran by maintaining a strictly neutral and balanced stance.
These positive acknowledgments highlight the growing international appreciation for Pakistan’s proactive role in de-escalating one of the most dangerous conflicts in recent times.
