Prime Minister Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif directed the respective authorities to provide financial support to the families impacted by floods, and monsoon rains. The PM ordered to provide financial assistance to families who had lost their lives, and whose homes had been partially or completely destroyed.

Furthermore, he ordered for the restoration of power supply, and rehabilitation of the damaged roads. He directed the federal ministers and secretaries to visit the affected areas and to initiate the rehabilitation work, expedite relief efforts, provide essential food items, and relief supplies to affected.
PM Sharif also directed the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and the Provincial District Management Authorities (PDMAs) to remain prepared for further rains and flooding.
