Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Expresses Solidarity with Malaysia Over Cyclone-Induced Floods









Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a telephonic conversation with his Malaysian counterpart, Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim, today to express Pakistan’s profound solidarity following the recent cyclone-induced floods in Malaysia.

On behalf of the people and Government of Pakistan, as well as on his personal behalf, the Prime Minister conveyed heartfelt condolences over the loss of precious lives and the extensive damage to property caused by heavy rainfall, floods, and landslides.

Prime Minister Sharif offered sincere prayers for those who had lost their lives and wished an early recovery for the displaced and injured citizens. He conveyed Pakistan’s complete solidarity with the Malaysian people during this difficult time of grief.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister offered Pakistan’s full support for ongoing relief and rescue operations, as well as any necessary assistance required by the Malaysian side to effectively deal with the natural disaster.

In his response, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim, thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for his kind and thoughtful telephonic call, noting that it reflects the close and enduring brotherly ties between Pakistan and Malaysia.
