Instagram has rolled out a new ‘Competitive Insights’ feature within its Professional Dashboard, enabling users to compare performance metrics with similar profiles.
The tool allows businesses and creators to track up to 10 accounts and access comparative data such as follower growth, posting frequency, Reels activity, and boosted ad performance. However, the data excludes campaigns run via Meta Ads Manager.
Early visuals shared by digital marketing advisor Sarah Roizman show a simplified comparison interface offering side-by-side metrics, though without in-depth graphs or grouped trend analysis.
Instagram is gradually rolling out the feature to eligible users, who can find it under the Competitive Insights tab in the Professional Dashboard.
The update aims to help creators and brands benchmark their strategies against competitors and gain a clearer view of how their content performance stacks up within their niche.
