Prime Minister Netanyahu to Join International ‘Board of Peace’ Initiative

The Office of the Prime Minister of Israel is pleased to announce that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has formally accepted an invitation from United States President Donald J. Trump to join the newly established “Board of Peace.”

The Board of Peace is a high-level international body envisioned by the U.S. Administration to oversee the transition of the Gaza enclave following the current conflict. The Prime Minister’s participation underscores Israel’s commitment to a regional framework that ensures long-term security, stability, and the economic revitalization of the Middle East.

Strategic Mandate and Governance

The Board of Peace is designed to act as a central authority for:

  • Governance Capacity-Building: Establishing robust local administrative structures.
  • Regional Relations: Strengthening ties between Israel and regional partners to foster a new era of cooperation.
  • Reconstruction and Investment: Attracting global capital and overseeing large-scale funding for infrastructure and development.
  • Capital Mobilization: Coordinating international financial resources to ensure the enclave’s economic viability.

Prime Minister’s Statement

“Israel welcomes the leadership of President Trump in convening this body,” a spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s Office stated. “Joining the Board of Peace provides a strategic platform for Israel to collaborate with world leaders on the complex challenges of reconstruction while ensuring that security interests remain at the forefront of the regional agenda.”
