The rumors had alleged that a PIA flight was at risk during its landing phase due to an Iranian missile strike targeting naval facilities adjacent to the Fujairah Airport. On Wednesday, PIA suspended all flights to Fujairah for a 48-hour period, redirecting its UAE services exclusively to the inland city of Al Ain near the Oman border. This decision follows a wave of flight disruptions across Pakistan, with at least 92 international flights cancelled in a single day as the Gulf conflict intensifies.
