The Upside Down opens one last time as Netflix unveils the release plan for Stranger Things Season 5, the final chapter of its global sci-fi hit. The trailer is set to be released on 30th October 2025.

For the first time in the streamer’s history, the finale will debut both on Netflix and in theaters, marking a cinematic send-off for the beloved series.
The season will be released in three parts: Volume 1 on November 27, Volume 2 on December 26, and the finale “The Rightside Up” on January 1, 2026. Fans in the U.S. and Canada can catch the finale a day early, December 31, in 350 theaters.

Set in 1987, the season finds Hawkins under lockdown as Eleven and her friends reunite for one final stand against Vecna. Co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer promise “the most emotional and cinematic season yet.”
A global “Stranger Things Day” event on November 7 will offer behind-the-scenes footage and the opening five minutes of the finale season.
